Mark F. Lawrence, DPM
Mark F. Lawrence, DPM, earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of New Hampshire and a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree, Magna Cum Laude, from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. Upon completing a Podiatric Surgical Residency program at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester and a combined 6-month Fellowship in Podiatric Surgery and Diabetic Foot Care at the Carney Hospital and New England Deaconess Hospital, he joined Dr. Count as an associate in 1991. Together, they formed Scituate Podiatry Group, Inc., in 1995.
Dr. Lawrence has been Board certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery since 1996. He has clinical interests in foot surgery, orthopedic management of foot disorders and sports related injuries, and foot disorders of the high risk foot including the high risk diabetic foot.
He is an active staff member at Carney Hospital in Dorchester and South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. He is the past Chief of Podiatry in Carney Hospital’s Department of Orthopedics and the past Residency Director for the Carney Podiatric Surgical Residency Program.
